"Dark and brooding, this Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 16 months in 100% French oak barrels enhancing its structure and adding layers of toasted spice and cedar. Aromas of blackberry, cassis, and charred wood lead into a dense, fullbodied palate with firm mountain tannins and notes of graphite, espresso, and bitter chocolate. Volcanic soils and high elevation lend the wine its signature mineral tension and age-worthy backbone. Built for cellaring, this is a powerful expression of Diamond Mountain terroir."
